The program would run Monday through Friday with riders meeting at the library grounds. Officials stated that youth 13 and older may ride without an adult; children ages 7 and older may ride when accompanied by a 16-year-old. Council Member Frahm moved to accept the grant, the motion was seconded by Council President Dean, and the motion carried unanimously.
Council members noted the funding is from an outside donor and not from City funds; some expressed concern about perceived support for Fort Robinson pool over the city pool, but minutes record that the grant is independent and not city-funded.
