The Town of Bourne Police Station Roof Replacement Building Committee voted unanimously July 29 to rank Pomeroy Associates first among three firms interviewed to serve as the owner’s project manager on the police station roof replacement project. A committee member moved the resolution to rank "Pomeroy, RGB, ECC" and to ask the town administrator to request select‑board authorization to negotiate fees; another member seconded the motion and the committee approved it without opposition.
Chair Bruce McNamee said the committee would forward the committee’s ordered ranking and the request that the select board authorize negotiations. Committee members cited Pomeroy’s local availability and hands‑on approach, RGB’s deep forensic and roofing experience, and ECC’s technical tools when explaining their rankings. The committee recorded the motion and vote as a unanimous “aye” and directed staff to pass its recommendation to the town administrator for next steps.
