Senator Phil Hart presented RS 33816, reporting that the Senate Resources and Environment Committee reviewed rules for the Department of Fish and Game, Department of Lands, Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses, Department of Parks and Recreation, Department of Water Resources, and Department of Environmental Quality under the Administrative Rules Review Act. Hart said the committee approved most rules but held two for further attention: IDAPA 2601.20 (Department of Parks and Recreation) and IDAPA 58.01.11 (Department of Environmental Quality groundwater quality rule).
"They approved all the rules except IDAPA 2601.20, the Department of Parks and Recreation rules governing the administration of Parks and Recreation areas facilities, and IDAPA 58.01.11, Department of Environmental Quality groundwater quality rule," Hart told the committee. He added that IDAPA 28.0108, the DEQ rule for public drinking water systems, would take effect upon Sine Die.
Senator Ricks moved that RS 33816 be sent to print; Senator Ruchti seconded and the motion carried by voice vote. The committee record does not include a roll-call tally. RS 33816 will be printed for the legislative record and available per committee procedure.
