Volunteer says 8-inch pipeline will tap Plymouth well and run under freeway to Riverside

At the Box Elder County CDBG meeting, volunteer grant writer Maryann Lane described the proposed pipeline route and scope for the RNG project: the plan calls for an 8-inch pipe, a connection to an existing pipe under the freeway and roughly 400 feet of new pipeline to reach Riverside customers.
Lane said the well near the solar fields in Plymouth (previously owned by Roy Welling and sold to RNG) would provide the source water and that the current grant application covers the pipeline hookup only. "...that part, changing the well over and the well house is not in this project. Just the pipeline hook up," she said. Committee members recommended providing the relevant excerpt from the county master water plan rather than the entire 350‑page document to document consistency with planning and zoning.
Lane and committee members also discussed coordination with the Bear River Water Conservancy District; Lane said she did not know whether that agency would be involved and suggested staff help obtain the relevant planning excerpt.
