Electric City's engineering update on May 13 said the sewer-lining contractor, Vortex Services, is expected to complete work May 20–23 and that the project is proceeding with few problems. The minutes note the initial RCO grant application was not funded, but that awards tied to the 2025–27 state capital budget will be announced June 24 and "some funding may still be available."
Councilmembers heard that available grant funding could change the project's net cost to the city; no final award or budget adjustment was recorded in the minutes. The clerk or public works department should publish grant-award results and any revised project budget when known.
