Facilities committee weighs phone system, bus leasing and High Desert roof work

At the March 26 special meeting the board heard a report from the facilities and finance subcommittee covering several facilities and transportation topics.
A committee representative said the group discussed Little Owls’ phone system options and will present recommendations to the full board at a later meeting. The committee also reviewed a draft lease agreement for iLead and suggested changes.
“ We also talked about bus leasing options and how much money it'll save the district by leasing buses compared to fixing our preexisting buses,” the committee representative said, and added that staff would look at a couple more bus options and return with a recommendation. The committee noted High Desert roof replacements planned for the summer and reviewed project updates and financing status.
