New Benicia officials sworn in; clerks and councilmembers offer brief remarks

Newly sworn councilmember Ken Palk described moving to Benicia and praised local public safety and city staff for their service. "I cannot say enough about this city or how well it's treated myself, my family, my friends," he said.
Other newly seated members offered short remarks of gratitude to family and supporters. Trevor Masinski, speaking after the oath, said he was "deeply honored to have been elected to my second term" and acknowledged his role as vice mayor. The brief ceremony transitioned directly into the council’s organizational business.
