Electric City's Public Works Director reported the Sewer Lining Project has reached physical completion and was accepted by city staff after laboratory testing of liner samples met requirements; the next administrative step is filing a Notice of Completion with the State.
In the same engineering update the council was notified that the Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) Board approved a grant of $575,000 to the city as matching funds for the Coulee Playland ABA Deficiencies Plan. Council also reviewed upcoming funding application deadlines, including Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) applications due August 15, 2025, for sidewalks to the new park and citywide pavement preservation projects.
City staff said three new water services are scheduled for July and public works activity continues on meter installs and shoulder maintenance.
