County approves updated fair food-vendor pricing for 2026

Jan Rhodes presented proposed updates to the fair's food-vendor pricing before the March 1 online signup period. Rhodes said last year vendors occupied the building through Saturday and noted the fair office wants clear pricing before applications go live.
She told commissioners the standard food-vendor charge would be $500 per day and that larger food trucks requiring more power would be charged $125 for the higher power. "We did raise the food truck vendor up to a 125 for the bigger power," Rhodes said. Commissioners reviewed the proposal and Commissioner Perry moved to approve the 2026 pricing; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
Rhodes reminded commissioners the fair is 'right around the corner' and staff will finalize application materials for the March 1 opening.
