Hospital representative outlines expansions, charity care and mental-health focus

The representative emphasized clinical and operational changes intended to keep costs down, including shared services with larger hospitals and a contract for board‑certified emergency physicians. He spoke about the hospital's mental-health concern after recent local suicides and said the organization is prioritizing mental-wellbeing programs as part of community health initiatives. Commissioners thanked the presenter for the briefing.
