Skamania reports strong September fund balances; transportation fund shows large reserve

Donald Collins presented the budget status report and said, "In the General Fund, the budgeted ending balance was $46,149, while the actual balance is $443,117.56." He also reported Capital Projects at $58,114, ASB at $357,768, and the Transportation Vehicle Fund at $1,835,272.40. Collins characterized the overall fund balances as stable.
The numbers reported will inform ongoing budget planning and any potential future allocations for maintenance, staffing or capital needs. The board did not take immediate budget-altering action at the Oct. 15 meeting.
