Library says FY25 overage resolved after city accounting duplication found

Hunter explained the library had originally estimated a FY25 overage of approximately $1,800 (eighteen hundred dollars) excluding a salary overage that would be covered from a different city account. After invoicing, the Library received an invoice for approximately $18,000 (eighteen thousand dollars). The minutes attribute the difference to the Finance Department adding the library's portion of a market-rate salary adjustment in full and to a thirteenth janitorial payment that had not been factored into the original estimate. The Finance Department's adjustments meant the library ultimately underspent its overall FY25 budget and no overage is due.
