Key recommendations highlighted included: follow best practices for budget development and ongoing performance measurement; document use of the January survey and the task force’s recommendations; consider a data warehouse solution to automate financial reporting; explore co‑managerial and consultant models for specialized IT needs; and develop volunteer support for front-desk duties. Carr told council staff would handle follow‑up on department-level items and supplied author/contact names for each section of the report.
