Council approves MOU to advance Lower Grand Coulee wayfinding signage, limits staff hours

Ruthann Tobiason asked the council to approve a memorandum of understanding between the City and Friends of the Lower Grand Coulee to keep the wayfinding signage project moving forward. Councilmember Carlson moved and Councilmember Bryson seconded a motion to approve the MOU; the motion carried unanimously.
Council then authorized city staff to proceed with the signage project and directed that proposed staff hours not exceed 150 in the budget proposal. That second motion passed; Councilmember Taylor recorded a Nay vote on the staff-hours authorization. Tobiason said she will use written staff estimates (hours, salary, equipment use and fees) to prepare a Highlevel Plan Budget for an ArtsWA grant application.
