Councilmember Bryson told the council that the Creative District celebration will run Oct. 1–4, with a concluding event on Oct. 4 at the Senior Center from 3–7 p.m. He said organizers produced a new walking map and plan a tile-painting project whose tiles will be fired and used in a future Creative District art installation.
Councilmember Carson, reporting for the Chamber, said organizers continue work on the Trunk-or-Treat event and invited donations of unopened candy at the Police Department or Fire Department. These items were presented as community-event updates; no council action or funding appropriation was recorded.
