The select board discussed sticker enforcement at the town beach and whether parents and children participating in organized swim lessons should be required to display town stickers. Chair (S1) said swim lessons are a program and attendees during lesson times should be treated differently from general users of the beach.
"The parents and the kids should not be able to ride free without stickers," Chair (S1) said, but members clarified that organized swim lessons falling under recreation programming are an exception for that program window; attendees who remain beyond lesson hours should still show stickers or leave. The board asked staff to clarify enforcement timing and to update signage as needed.
