Spa CEO: 10-minute Soap Lake documentary to air on Discovery and Travel channels; Wounded Warriors Project outreach planned

Travis Baily, CEO of the Soap Lake Spa/Resort, told the council a 10-minute informational documentary about Soap Lake has been produced and will air on the Discovery Channel and Travel Channel four times between now and next April. He offered to arrange a viewing for councilmembers and said the film and related publicity could boost tourism.
Baily also said he is working to bring the Wounded Warriors Project to Soap Lake and invited the police and fire chiefs to help with planning. The council did not take any formal funding action related to the documentary or the proposed events at the Oct. 15 meeting.
