"Michael Beckendorf, Planning and Zoning Commission, and sincere appreciation for your dedicated years of service on the Planning and Zoning Commission, 02/2014, 2018 to 2025," staff read from the plaque while presenting the awards. Chair praised the departing members for providing experience and continuity that helped newer commissioners find their footing.
Commissioners and staff took turns thanking Beckendorf and Rodriguez for their service. A commissioner said serving with the two veterans had been a pleasure and noted staff and counsel had provided valuable support over the years. The recognition segment concluded with members agreeing to take a group photograph before adjourning.
The meeting then moved to closing business and adjourned at 12:13 p.m.
