Gary Bone elected chair of Abilene Civil Service Commission; Blair elected vice chair

At the start of the session the presiding officer moved to nominate a chair and nominated Gary Bone for the position of chair of the Civil Service Commission of Abilene.
“I nominate Gary Bone as chair of the Civil Service Commission of Abilene,” the presiding officer said. The nomination was seconded, and the commission approved the nomination by voice vote. The presiding officer then called for a vice chair nomination; a commission member nominated Blair for the vice chair position and that nomination also passed by voice vote. The presiding officer welcomed a newly joined member, Tammy, during these procedural items.
