Montoursville Borough Council on April 6 approved a funding commitment letter obligating $105,742.25 toward a Green Light‑Go traffic grant for SR2014 (Broad Street and Willow Street). Borough Manager Donna M. Taggart told council the full grant request totals $423,000 and that the borough will learn whether the grant is approved in August.
The motion to approve the funding commitment was made by Donald Konkle and seconded by Misty Emick; the motion carried. Council also authorized Grove Miller Engineering as the borough traffic engineer and noted prior use of the firm on ARLE projects in support of traffic grant work.
