Goose Creek Police Department receives FBI 'Agency Trilogy' award

Michael Robinson of the Federal Bureau of Investigation presented the Goose Creek Police Department with the Agency Trilogy award, saying the recognition is given to departments whose command staff “have completed what we call the FBI data trilogy.”
Robinson described the trilogy as three courses — supervisory leadership, the command leadership institute and the executive leadership institute — that certify command-level training. “What this is is an award that is presented to police departments that are really dedicated to excellence,” he said. Mayor Gregory Essoby thanked Robinson and highlighted the department’s leadership and the council’s commitment to training resources.
The presenter said roughly 184 agencies nationwide have received the award. The council’s acknowledgment was ceremonial; no formal policy action was tied to the presentation.
