Council appointed Barry Evans to the Brazos County Health Board to serve immediately through June 30, 2027. The appointment was made by motion and approved unanimously.
Council also appointed members to the Bryan-Brazos County Economic Development Foundation and the Bryan Cemetery Advisory Board; Debbie Schmidt and other applicants were named to the cemetery board. Councilmembers moved and seconded the appointments and voted unanimously to approve them.
Council and staff said they appreciated applicants’ willingness to serve on local boards and commissions.
