Blair council convenes closed session; authorizes attorney to pursue nuisance-property matters

The council voted to enter a closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) and 19.85(1)(g) to discuss personnel (a police hire) and to consult with legal counsel about potential litigation regarding nuisance properties at N31894 Larkin Valley Road and N31872 Schansberg Road. The motion to enter closed session carried on a roll vote recorded in the minutes.
After returning to open session, the council approved hiring actions and moved to allow Attorney Mark Radcliffe to coordinate with Source Attorney Behling on the nuisance-property matters discussed in closed session. C. Ekern moved the authorization and T. Palkowski seconded; roll call recorded unanimous approval.
