Palkowski moved that paperwork direction, seconded by A. Stevens; the motion passed with an aye vote recorded for all six voting members.
The hiring motion recorded the condition that Arteman’s appointment is pending completion of required background checks and tests. The council’s action followed a closed-session discussion on personnel matters under Wisconsin law and was finalized in open session with the recorded roll call.
