The Montoursville Borough Council convened a special meeting at 7:00 p.m. April 20, 2026, in the John Dorin Municipal Building. Council President Dr. Tina Kline called the meeting to order, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited and roll call showed one member absent; the meeting ran roughly 10 minutes and adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
Council deferred minutes and the treasurer's report to the May 4, 2026 meeting. Aside from the appointment of a deputy police chief, council committees and officers reported no business ('Nothing at this time'). The council announced its next regular meeting on May 4, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. and stated an executive session for personnel and legal matters will follow that meeting without reconvening the full council.
