During a recess into Community Development Renewal Agency business, finance staff presented the proposed CDRA FY2026 budget. The presenter said the budget largely mirrors last year’s plan, noted timing of tax-incentive expenses toward year-end, and called out the Yonge Mazda project area and the city center CRA as continuing multi-year efforts.
A board member asked about a balance line in the housing-authority fund reporting that combined totals for three projects read as $6.14 (million) and whether that number reflected an actual fund balance; staff clarified it was a consolidation of current-year revenues for three projects and not the retained fund balance. A board member moved and the board adopted Resolution 25-01 with corrected fiscal-period dates (07/01/2025 through 06/30/2026).
Staff said they will continue to refine reports and provide fund-balance detail as requested.
