South Ogden council approves modest FY2025 budget amendments

The presenter called out specific account numbers listed in the packet as duplicative and said last year’s May amendments did not include enterprise funds; this amendment projects year-end positions and makes reallocations where departments have underspent. "We are trying to project through the end of the year to address where our budgets are anticipated to finish," the presenter said. The changes also included a grouping of miscellaneous items totaling $20,418.
Council members expressed support for departmental budgeting discipline and moved to approve the resolution with staff’s identified changes. The roll-call vote recorded unanimous support among members present and the resolution passed.
Council directed staff to continue monitoring enterprise funds and report any further adjustments as part of routine financial oversight.
