Council approves $1.5M local match to secure $6M federal Safe Streets grant

Mrs. Ziegler also clarified that the pedestrian project is part of a larger connectivity effort and that the grant-funded work will interface with planned sidewalks and multiuse paths near the 7‑11 and adjacent developments.
