Council approves second-reading TIF ordinance for J Block commercial parcel

On Jan. 5 the Dublin City Council approved Ordinance 50-25, a second-reading tax-increment financing measure covering improvements to a commercial office parcel within the J Block development. City planning staff said the ordinance complements a residential TIF approved by council in December and recommended approval after a prior technical delay at the county auditor's office.
Matt Rubino presented the staff report and told council there were no substantive changes to the legislation since the first public hearing on Oct. 20 and recommended adoption. Council took public comment (none were registered for this item) and approved the ordinance on roll call.
