Court approves replat for Kingston Estates Phase 2 after resident appeal

Public commenter Mister Ward, who said he had spoken previously with the inspector, told the court that parties had signed off on a 15‑foot setback change to avoid moving the house.
"So this is a replat to move that property line," staff explained, and the court voted to approve the replat after hearing the applicant’s statement that necessary signoffs were in place. Judge Miller offered Mister Ward another opportunity to comment when the formal agenda item was taken up; Ward reiterated that approval would prevent a burdensome house move.
The motion to approve the replat carried on a voice vote. Staff indicated they will follow up as needed with the applicant and record the revised plat in county records.
