Commissioners approved the road-and-bridge report by motion.
The department said 85 miles of road remain to be sealed under current budgets, 24 miles need base laid, and crews completed the month’s scheduled patching and tree removal. Staff emphasized the need to balance routine maintenance with FEMA-driven repair work.
Next steps: staff will continue FEMA site inspections, refine mitigation lists, and return to the court with mitigation recommendations and cost estimates.
