Planning staff presented a site-plan request for 1208 West Trinity that would allow two office/warehouse buildings on approximately 2.4 acres and said the proposal met density, parking and landscaping requirements; Planning & Zoning had recommended approval with a condition requiring a noise study before a building permit is issued.
“On March 10, the planning and zoning commission recommended approval, with a condition,” a staff presenter said. Council moved to approve item 31 with the stated conditions and the motion carried. Later in the agenda, council took up items 32 and 33 — a future land‑use map designation and rezoning for property annexed from Irving on Shady Grove Road — and approved those items together after staff explained the property’s transition from agriculture to commercial zoning.
The motions were recorded and passed; staff said future development must meet the city’s commercial‑zoning requirements and noted Planning & Zoning had recommended approval for both items.
