Development services director reminds commissioners to file property disclosures, shares UDC status

Development Services Director Ashley Bailey used her director's report to remind commissioners that anyone who owns property must declare it with the city secretary (either at appointment or annually as required by the ethics code). She said the declaration is currently a statement rather than a formal form and that staff will follow up to ensure compliance.
Bailey also said the Unified Development Code (UDC) draft that went to council is available online and that council has provided red lines; however the item is not scheduled for council action at this time. She offered to send a direct link for commissioners who have difficulty locating the document and reminded new members to complete the required TOMA-related training.
