Richland 44 anniversary set as foundation reports more than $1M in scholarships

Nicole delivered the foundation report and the big items were scholarship spending and activity at the Richland 44 venue. She said total scholarship expenditures so far exceed $1,000,000. The foundation also briefed the 44 venue board on history and operations and reported the venue is booked every weekend through November with roughly 29–31 bookings in 2027, including many weddings.
Nicole invited the public to a one-year anniversary celebration at the 44 venue on Tuesday, July 21 from 5–8 p.m. with food trucks, music, and yard games; admission will be free. The foundation asked the community to attend and said additional precise scholarship numbers will be provided at next month's meeting.
