The Planning Commission recorded two community events under 'Other Business' on Feb. 19. A second housing forum is scheduled for March 14, 9 a.m.–noon at the vestry of the First Congregational Church of Newbury; several housing‑related presenters have confirmed attendance.
Marvin Harrison of the Cohase Chamber of Commerce sent notice of an exploratory meeting on Feb. 27, 1–4 p.m. at 134 Main Street in Bradford to consider establishing a Community Development Corporation. At the end of the meeting, resident Andrew Haggan introduced himself and said he might be interested in serving on the Planning Commission.
No formal actions were recorded in connection with either event during the Feb. 19 meeting.
