Newbury member says TRORC regional land-use map is now 'frozen'

Tony O’Meara, a member of the Newbury Planning Commission, told colleagues that the new regional land‑use map on the Two Rivers–Ottauquechee Regional Planning Commission website is now "frozen" and that Newbury’s input has been incorporated. He said he received the narrative that accompanies the map and will forward a condensed, annotated version to the commission for review.
The update gives Newbury a chance to confirm local designations and to ensure any written narrative accurately reflects local infrastructure constraints, commission members said. The commission did not record a formal vote on changes to the town’s local map designations at the Feb. 19 meeting.
