Wapello superintendent raises concerns about living conditions at Woodland Trailer Park

Mike Peterson, Wapello School Superintendent, addressed the Louisa County Board during the April 7 meeting about conditions at Woodland Trailer Park in Wapello. "The school is concerned about substandard living conditions and how that impacts the residents out there," the minutes record. The remark was made during the conservation and community updates portion of the agenda.
Jacob Ewart of the Conservation department also gave a monthly update before the superintendent spoke; board members noted that discussions regarding the mobile home park are ongoing but the minutes do not record a formal directive or next step from the board.
