The Louisa County Board of Supervisors on April 7 adopted Resolution No. 202619, establishing regular meeting times and procedural deadlines. The resolution sets the first monthly meeting for the first Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. and the second meeting for the third Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.; it takes effect May 1, 2026.
The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Scot Hunt and seconded by Shawn Maine; the minutes record AYES from Kevin Hardin (Chair), Shawn Maine and Scot Hunt. The resolution also requires that all bills be filed by the Thursday noon preceding a session, allows the board to convene work sessions or special meetings as needed, and gives the county auditor 48 hours after adjournment to classify and engross audited claims before warrants will be issued.
