TPCA board members accepted a check from the city for proceeds raised at a local fundraiser. A visiting TPCA board member praised Highland Village's effort: "Y'all knock it out of the park every year," emphasizing the importance of the fund to families who suffer line-of-duty losses.
Council thanked the officers and the department for their community work; the ceremony included family pinning and photos. The city will continue the fundraising tradition and planned community events tied to public-safety outreach.
