The Ionia County Board of Commissioners voted Sept. 9 to authorize the road director to sign a 28-month contract with Samsara for fleet tracking and vehicle cameras, priced at $26,079.60 and covering 70 gateway units, 10 air tags and 25 road-facing cameras. Road Department staff presented the proposal and recommended approval.
Commissioner Terence Frewen moved to approve the contract; the motion carried. The contract was presented during the Road Department portion of the agenda and will be implemented by the Road Department as recommended.
