Henderson approves liquor-store certificate, library appointment and a slate of routine motions

Recorder Jim E. Garland said Ketan C. Patel is purchasing Express Liquor at 102 S. Church Ave. and that the police department completed the required background check and notices were published; the board approved the certificate, which is the city's step before the state ABC board considers the license. Mayor Bell also said Ald. Jason Rhodes asked to be removed from the Chester County Library Board and nominated Ald. Buel Maness to replace him; Ald. Keith Smith moved to approve the appointment and the motion carried.
