Kaliseum sees new programming; RL Morris donates volleyball equipment

Parks and Recreation Director Chad Williams updated the Committee on Kaliseum facility use and programming, including plans for a youth pickleball camp and a takeover of youth softball by the department. Williams said the school program is light this season, which has depressed revenue, and proposed more weekend events.
Kaliseum Director John Starr reported that RL Morris donated volleyball materials for the facility and said a pending hockey agreement is under consideration. Commissioners requested a proclamation recognizing the donation and asked staff to coordinate scheduling with community groups that use county facilities.
