Commission approves annual leave change and social media policy with consent form

The Mountrail County Commission approved Human Resource Advisory Committee recommendations to change the county Employee Policy #303 (Annual Leave). The motion carried on a unanimous roll call on July 7 after Randi Schumaier presented the HRAC recommendations. The minutes record that "More discussion will take place with the proposed Mountrail County Employee Policy #524 Pets at Work."
The commission also approved changes to Employee Policy #206 (Social Media Networking) and required a "Media Release Consent Form for anyone under the age of 18." State's Attorney Wade Enget participated in the discussion. The minutes show the board voted in favor and recorded the roll call.
