Commission adopts Resolution #26-13 updating fleet and occupational safety policies

Deputy Attorney Anne Hansen told commissioners staff identified two discrepancies involving accident reporting and the disciplinary process; the revised policy language in Resolution #26-13 addresses those issues and replaces the previously adopted sections in full. Commissioner Boyd Bingham moved to approve Resolution #26-13; Commissioner Lee Perry seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The resolution preserves department-specific policies to the extent they remain consistent with county-wide rules. The county clerk will incorporate the revised policy text into the county personnel manual and post the changes as part of the official personnel policies.
