Paul Halko of the Fish and Wildlife Service asked Traill County commissioners on April 21 to provide a letter of support for the sale of 80 acres to the Fish and Wildlife Service. The commission approved the letter.
Halko told the commission the county's support would accompany an adjacent property already owned by the service; he said he would follow up once the state issues final approval. The motion to allow signature on the support letter was carried during the meeting.
No purchase price or additional terms were recorded in the minutes; Halko indicated the process would continue with state-level approvals.
