Public Works reported ongoing maintenance of the Highway 69 median, debris pickup, and additional creek line clearing to improve drainage. The department said five trees fell and were cut up and that crews planned to remove brush and limbs the next day.
Trustee Benton announced the annual car show scheduled for September 12. He said prize‑eligible vehicles will pay $10–$15 and non‑competing vehicles may attend free; food vendors and craft tables are expected and the committee is encouraging local business participation.
