The Dinwiddie County Board of Supervisors voted March 17 to approve a contract for used vehicles for the county fleet. Timmy Cliborne, director of general services, presented the procurement for the board’s consideration; upon motion of William D. Chavis and a second from Casey M. Dooley the contract was approved as presented.
The vote was recorded as unanimous: "AYES: Mr. Dooley, Dr. Moore, Mr. Chavis, Mr. Lee, Mrs. Ebron-Bonner; NAYS: None." The approval completes the formal procurement step recorded in the meeting minutes and authorizes county staff to proceed under the terms presented to the board.
