Jail administrator reports 219 inmates at Comanche County Detention Center; three transfers to DOC

David Weber, Comanche County Jail Administrator, reported to the Comanche County Facilities Authority on Feb. 23 that the detention count as of Feb. 20, 2026, was 219 inmates, comprising 176 males and 43 females. "As of February 20, 2026 the detention center had a count of 219 inmates," Weber said during his weekly report.
Weber also said three inmates are ready to be transferred to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (DOC) and that three inmates were transferred to DOC during the week. He provided a combined population figure of 352 when including 115 inmates housed at other counties alongside 236 at CCDC as of that day.
The report was given as part of routine weekly business and included no formal motions related to changes in operations. The board took no separate action on operational matters during the meeting; routine payroll and purchase approvals followed later in the agenda.
