Councilmember Cynthia Butterworth urged volunteers to assist with a community food distribution next Friday, asking for "just two little hours of your time" to help pack and distribute food and to arrive early for staging.
She also appealed to residents to pick up after their dogs, noting problems near bus stops and walkways used by children. "PSA, please pick up after your dogs," Butterworth said, describing safety and courtesy concerns.
Councilmember Danielle Cardella encouraged residents to enjoy parks and outdoor amenities as the weather improves and to walk the storybook path for children. Mayor Pro Tem Christy Hirshberg reported on a recent networking event and said she'll be selling circus tickets at the March 21 community meeting. Mayor Johann Wallace summarized recent outreach and planning work—including the upcoming Skyline project, CDBG meeting on March 21 and Cochise College's work on AI training grants—and urged continued community involvement.
