Nobles County commissioners approved awarding Contract 25003 for the CSAH 4 grading project to B & G Construction Company for the base bid and Alternate 2 at $3,223,379.18.
Project scope includes grading and widening roughly 5 miles of County State Aid Highway 4 from Read Avenue to CSAH 21 in Round Lake, along with aggregate base work, culvert replacement and drain tile replacement. The county noted paving is not included in this contract and is anticipated under a separate 2026 procurement.
The motion to award the bid was made by Commissioner Justin Ahlers and seconded by Commissioner Gene Metz; the minutes record the award as duly passed.
